This year the Club Supper will

be returning to the MRC Clubhouse

on Friday 6th October.

 

 ALL members & their guests are invited

 

Seating for Dinner at 7:45pm
(the MRC Bar will be open from 6:30pm)
 
 

Poulet Basque - chicken with peppers, onions, chorizo in a rich tomato sauce

Beef Bourguignon

Vegetable Tagine

Served with a choice of rice or cous cous, bread roll and butter.

Selection of desserts, tea or coffee.

 

There will be short speeches and awards,

and live music from Loose Connection.

 

 

Pre-order wine list will be circulated before the event, or you can buy from bar on the night.
Tickets:  £35 (18 & over) /£25 Juniors
Dress code: Blazers or suits/ evening wear or cocktail dresses.
Places are limited and the club supper is always fully subscribed so book early!

The President's Fundriasing Dinner and action was a huge success with £45,161 raised. A number of the auction items raised really good sums.

Email invitations have been sent out on behalf of our President, Sir Steve Redgrave CBE DL, to selected local organisations to attend the Corporate Breakfast event. If you have received one, please respond to the email given as places are limited.

For 2014, we are reverting to Boxing Day Quads

Our festive scratch quads competition will return on New Year's Day 2014.

The competition will follow the same format as previous years – i.e. mixed crews drawn on the day, knockout format raced over a short course. We plan to make this a family event, (registration 11am) and running over lunchtime into the early afternoon. More details to be posted on the website and on notices at the club. We are looking for volunteers to help organise the racing and the refreshments for the day – please contact Sally if you are able to help out.
