Lady Sheila Ferris has reported to us the sad news that her husband, Sir Francis died on Monday 26th March, aged 86.

Sir Francis had the unique distinction to be the only member to have held the posts of Captain, Chairman and President, spanning half a century in the process. As a young oarsman, he was captain in 1957. He followed that with 15 years as Chairman and 15 as President.

  • Largest Adaptive Regatta in the UK – With 17 registered athletes, from 8 different clubs across the country, Marlow Spring has grown to be the biggest adaptive event in the country.
