Today our very own Molly Harding and Ros Wilson along with coach Bret King are flying down to Rio to play their part as members of the GB squad for the World Junior Championships.

Making the GB squad is a fantastic achivement and a reward for the pair's hard work and commitment. We are very proud of them!

The event takes place from August 5-9, one year ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The Championships will double as an Olympic test event and the 36 British rowers selected, part of a 50-strong overall delegation, will get to experience racing on the spectacular Lagoa Rodrigo de Freita, just ten minutes from Ipanema beach with a spectacular backdrop of mountains, the Tijuca Forest and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue at Corcovado.

Congratulations to Molly Harding (4x) and Ros Wilson (2x) and coach Bret King (coach to 2x). We all wish them good luck and will be reporting on their progress here!
