*If anyone is considering entering an eight, please ensure expressions of interest are received by email by 6pm on Monday 25th Feb (this is not a formal entry exactly- but the number of eights looking to race will affect how we select the crews- whether another race (eg Schools Head) is a preferable method of selection).

If for any reason the trial cannot go ahead, selections will be made by results from other races such as Hampton, Molesey, Schools Head and Scullery.

In order to combine both the need to select the fastest team, but also to encourage and develop growth at junior level, juniors will only be eligible for selection in one boat (excluding the eights). Juniors are invited to trial in multiple categories, but will not be selected in both if they win multiple trials.

The Team Manager retains the right to select the team, and this will be done in discussion with the coaches of winning crews after the trials. This will also take into account the regatta timetable, the order of which is non-negotiable.

Marshals and Volunteers

Each club will be expected to provide at least one marshal for the trials. It is absolutely imperative that this is adhered to as the event simply cannot run without the clubs pitching in to assist. Please indicate the names of any volunteers on the entry form.

These will be confirmed nearer the time. The briefing will likely be at 8am, with the racing finished by 12pm. The provisional planned order of the divisions will be quads, fours, doubles, singles. Please advise if you have any unavoidable equipment clashes on your entry and we will do our best to help.
