Over the Easter break, Marlow Rowing Club coaches, boats and juniors all decamped to France for a training camp in Mimizan.
On Monday, Marlow Rowing Club was host to some elite Olympic atheletes of a different sort - the British Bobsleigh & Skeleton team.
Outstanding Olympian and five-times gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave is to be honoured with a sculpture located at the entrance to Marlow Bottom.
The inauguration is at 11am on Sunday 3rd May 2015 and Marlow Rowing Club members have an open invitation to attend to celebrate the achievements of their President.
The sculpture will be located at the entrance to Marlow Bottom, between the entrance and that to Bencombe Farm and Rebellion Brewery. Parking is potentially a problem, so please come by foot if you can.
Hungry rowers will be able to enjoy smoothies, milkshakes, beans and eggs on toast, porridge, banana bread, malt loaf, tea, coffee and other healthy foods when the new MRC cafe opens in the bar tomorrow.
Back by popular demand, Marlow Rowing Club will again have a marquee located at the start enclosure during Henley Royal Regatta on Thursday 2 July 2015.

Learn to row courses for adults run throughout the summer until the end of September, new courses are scheduled roughly every six weeks. Pick a course and sign up online. Our crew sculling courses are 6 hours (cost £126) which allows you to master some basics and find out whether it is for you.
The bar in the Marlow Watersports Hub is operational and open to members and guests. Also the public may now join as social members and the venue is available for hire with great views over Marlow Bridge and the church.
