We Are Hiring – Junior Squad Coaches

We have one the UK’s largest and most successful, club-based Junior Squads that continues to grow and improve. Our junior members have an enviable record of wins at club and National level events and an impressive track record at HWR and HRR.  Our junior diaspora currently features in a significant number of university programmes in the UK and USA, as well as in senior high-performance programmes and the GB National Squad where a number have gone on to the very highest level of Olympic success. We have doubled the size of our squad over the last three years and, as a consequence, need to recruit additional coaches. We are looking for a J14 coach and a J15/16 coach, both to work as part of our established teams.  Applications from developing and experienced coaches are welcome. Training, mentoring and other coach development is available. Role profile: Junior Squad Coaches

Senior Squad High Performance Coach

We have gone all in and investing heavily behind our Senior Squad. Numbers continue to grow, and we are making significant progress on and off the water. We have a great fleet, one of the best rowing gyms in the country and an ambition for our rowers to win at HWR and HRR.
We are now looking for a second high performance coach to work with the squad. If you have experience of rowing and coaching at the highest level, can create a ‘whole squad’ ethos and want to be part of it, get in touch.

Role Profile and application details

In Memory of Katerina Kleshneva

is with great sadness that we heard of the death of  Katerina Kleshneva, Head Junior Men’s Coach. There have already been many touching comments about Katerina’s profound impact on the lives of many rowers here at Marlow and across the globe.  Our thoughts go to her family, Valery, Sergey, Vladimir, Victor and Valentina as well as all those who knew and loved her. We feel a deep sense of loss.

Marlow Rowing Unlocked

Following the start of Step 1b, the club headed back to the water. As ever, our Women’s Masters were in the vanguard with an outing in a quad shortly after dawn, swiftly followed by most of the rest of the club. The COVID secure controls remain in place and the boathouse closed until Step 2, hopefully opening on Monday 12th April.

Para Squad Unlocked

Lockdown III came with a provision that allows organised sport for Para/Adaptive athletes. Until early March conditions precluded the Marlow Para squad taking to the water but that all changed on Saturday 22nd March when the whole squad were able to head out. Once again, the Marlow para squad leads the way!
