About The Event
The Marlow Spring Regatta is run over approximately 900 metres from Bisham Abbey to Higginson Park. Racing is up to 3 abreast and the event is run in three waves to give opportunities for doubling up.
We have events for Seniors, Adaptive rowers, Masters and Juniors. We will do our best to accommodate requests for other events, but this is a popular regatta and we tend to be oversubscribed so please get your entries in quickly!
Note to coaches: for many of our younger competitors this is their first regatta. We understand this and will try to make allowances for inexperienced crews, however coaches should be confident that crews are competent to paddle to the start, manoeuvre and race over the course. If in the opinion of the chief umpire a crew is not able to complete the distance safely or without undue delay to the running of the regatta they may not be permitted to race.
