We are currently aiming to run the Regatta as scheduled this summer, although it is possible that the associated Festival and Fair will not take place as usual that weekend.
We will continue to monitor developments over the coming weeks and will post further updates here as more information becomes available. In the meanwhile, if you have any questions please contact us
10th February 2021 It is our intention to run an event if at all possible. Clearly there is currently a large degree about the COVID situation and the prevailing regulations and controls necessary to do this safely. We will update the site as the situation, and our plans, develop.
About the event
Marlow Town Regatta is a summer regatta on a downstream course of around 100o metres between Bisham Abbey to Higginson Park (Marlow). It is a three lane, free start, buoyed course, rowed under British Rowing Rules.
The rowing is coupled with events and a funfair in Higginson Park and dragon boat racing the next day. It is run by the Town Regatta and Festival Committee. For further details about the Marlow Town Regatta and Festival, please click here.
Car Parking The car park is off Lower Pound Lane and is organized by Marlow Town Regatta and Festival. The Satnav postcode is SL7 2AE. When these are available, tickets may be purchased in advance on the MTRF website – this is strongly recommended as the car park is likely to be very busy. Prices for 2019 are £8.50 in advance or £10 on the day.
Regatta Enclosure and Dress Code The Dress Code for Competitors and Spectators only applies should you wish to visit the Regatta Enclosure. Racing can be viewed from the footpath along the river, upstream from the trailer field, without having to access the Regatta Enclosure.
