Here are some summaries from the squads:

Awesome Women's Squad Performance at Henley Masters Regatta
Aiming to build on our winning performance at the National Masters Regatta in Nottingham, the MRC Women's Squad worked hard in their preparation to race at Henley Masters.  The competitors were Victoria Parsons, Lorna Loretto, Ruth Naylor, Anna Brazinova in the WC 4+ and Amanda Rice in the WD 4+ and WE 1x plus Lisa Knill (cox/coach).

The excitement built as first the WC 4+ won in the semi final against old rivals Nottingham followed by Amanda starting her single scull campaign with a win against Wood of Exeter in her semi final.  She then moved into the WD 4+ and another win came, this time in the first final against our good friends Bewdley.  With two more finals to go the nerves were jangled and the stakes were raised.

The C boat and the single boated close to each other, the C boat dispatched the Lea to win by a length and a half and we all gathered to support Amanda in her E final.  After a very tight race she pulled away to beat Morris from Bewl Bridge.
A fantastic day out for us and thanking all our supporters and Andy Knill for being there to look after Amanda.
