Compete and win at Championship level competitions such as National Schools and Henley Royal Regatta Support athletes who attempt selection for national junior squads
Watermanship SkillsDevelopment of sculling and sweep skills to a high level
FitnessDevelopment of strength, fitness and athleticism in support of higher level competitive performance
J15s – three weekday gym sessions per week and two water sessions on Saturday and two water sessions on Sunday
J16 – four weekday gym sessions per week and two water sessions on Saturday and two water sessions on Sunday
J17/18 – four weekday gym sessions per week and two water sessions on Saturday and two water sessions on Sunday
All age groups are anticipated to take part in club based school holiday training camps. Many will be invited to take part in an annual training camp.typically held on lake Varese.
All junior rowers are expected to know and follow the junior code of conduct.
Junior rowers and parents are anticipated to support club activities including fundraising.
EntryGraduates from the lower year group will typically move into the next year group provide that they have made sufficient progress on their development, and, in the sole opinion of the squad coach, are likely to flourish in the next year group.

CoachingThe J15-J18 squad enjoy the coaching of a full time high performance coach. The fees for coaching are included in the performance element of membership subscriptions for the relevant age group.
