We have one the UK’s largest and most successful, club-based Junior Squads that continues to grow and improve. Our junior members have an enviable record of wins at club and National level events and an impressive track record at HWR and HRR. Our junior diaspora currently features in a significant number of university programmes in the UK and USA, as well as in senior high-performance programmes and the GB National Squad where a number have gone on to the very highest level of Olympic success. We have strong athlete centred ethos and our ‘True North’ is to develop a lifelong love of rowing in all our squads. The highly acclaimed , week long, Marlow Junior Learn to Row courses are back with bookings due to open in early 2025.
We take rising year eight and above and give the participants a fun introduction to rowing with many going on to take up the sport. Our experienced junior coaches, teach the British Rowing Go-Row syllabus and progressively develop skills across the week.

The club runs two regattas; Marlow Spring on the early May Bank Holiday and Marlow Town, which has a starring role in the Marlow Town Regatta and Festival. We value both regatta’s reputations as fair and friendly events to race at.
From Spring until early autumn we run a series of learn to row courses for Juniors and Adults. Many of our graduates stay in the sport and now row at Marlow.
