  • Squad Aspiration
    Continued development of junior rowers from JDS or JLTR Compete at National Schools in May and National Juniors in July dependent on the squad Compete at local regattas including Marlow Spring and Marlow Town
  • Watermanship Skills
    Continued development of skills in crew sculling boats and single sculls, in line with level 2 of the British Rowing Development Guide
  • Fitness
    Continued development of flexibility, strengthening and stability to promote physical literacy and correct movement patterns Developing physical activity to maintain a consistent elevated heartrate for a short period of time.
  • Training Commitment
    One weekday after school gym circuit and run One weekday after school ergo session – water session when the weather and light allow Saturday, double water session
  • Club Contribution
    Understand and follow the Junior Code of Conduct Athlete and parents support club events.
  • Entry
    Graduates of the JDS who are now at least Year 9 JLTR graduates who have an advanced aptitude
  • Pathways
    J14s graduate to J15 or WJ15 squads provided that they have developed sufficiently alone the BR Level 2 pathway
  • Coaching
    Delivered by volunteer coaches. There is no additional charge for coaching beyond the J14 membership subscription.
